Many prescription antibiotics / anti-inflammatories in the tetracycline, imidazole, and macrolide families seem to be helpful in treating rosacea symptoms. Newer formulations are being developed to provide anti-inflammatory benefits at sub-microbial doses for potentially safer long-term usage.
