Studies suggest that taking Borage Oil, a rich source of GLA, can help reduce inflammation (see Omega-6 Supplements). However, Borage Oil may contain salicylates so those with salicylate sensitivities should be careful with this supplement.
As a warning, those who suffer from seizures should also be careful with this supplement as there have been reports of it causing or increasing the risk of seizures.
