Azelaic Acid is derived from wheat, rye and barley

Azelex is a prescription antibacterial containing Azelaic Acid that when applied topically may be helpful in controlling rosacea symptoms, particularly papules and pustules (see Azelaic Acid Topicals). However, many rosaceans find that Azelaic Acid is far too irritating.
